Christian has spent her professional career pushing for voter mobilization, voter education and civic engagement. After college, she was a field organizer for several races in Virginia where she worked directly with the community in voter education and voter registration. Christian spent two years at People for The American Way working in the African American Religious Affairs department. In this role, she served as a resource to members’ voter engagement events and handled administrative, finance, and logistics tasks. Before joining CEIR, Christian worked with the Close-Up Foundation helping students define and understand their political efficacy. Christian has a bachelor’s in political science with a concentration in global politics and minor in homeland security from Longwood University.
