Nikki Cotton is the Administrative and Events Coordinator for the Center for Election Innovation Research (CEIR). She has over 20 years of experience in administration and customer service and has assisted many companies and nonprofit organizations with daily operations as well as event planning. These organizations include Metropolitan Management, DC Fray, 1330 Tenants Association, Inc., and D.A.R.E. Prior to joining CEIR, Nikki also started her own nonprofit that assists children with emotional support and financial resources through the love of the arts. Nikki has bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Nikki is a Washington, DC native with a strong love for music and the arts. From childhood to now, Rock Creek Park has been the center of her peace, connecting her hobbies of photography and nature. She is also known for being a social butterfly.
