Jennifer Charette is an experienced activity manager specializing in the administrative, financial, programmatic, and compliance oversight of grants and contracts. Her area of professional focus is in human rights protection, civic participation, and accountable governance.

Prior to joining CEIR, Jennifer was a project manager at LINC LLC where she managed the finances and operations for a USAID-funded blended finance activity. Before that, she worked at Freedom House where she oversaw the implementation of democracy and human rights programming in sub-Saharan Africa, with a specific focus on activities in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Sudan. Jennifer has a bachelor’s in global studies with a concentration in human rights/social justice from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
