April joined CEIR in November 2022 as Senior Research Associate, with a focus on policy.
Before joining CEIR, she spent two years at the National Journal working to inform organizations on topics related to election, education, and criminal justice policy.
April holds a Master’s in comparative social policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s in development sociology from Cornell. In addition to the topics she covers at CEIR, April is interested in redistricting, campaign finance, and voting rights restoration.
