“Easier to vote than ever before” as voting begins across the country

As mail ballots are delivered and early in-person voting begins in many states, the Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR)’s David Becker reported on Face the Nation that “overall, it is easier to vote than ever before in American history.” For those who still doubt the electoral process, he challenged them to volunteer as poll workers in their communities and see the process first hand.

CEIR’s David Becker joined CBS Mornings on National Voter Registration Day to discuss voter registration, early voting, election security, and common voting myths. Until October 6, every eligible citizen in the country can register to vote in the 2024 general election using any registration method available in their state.
