Amelia Minkin
Research Associate
Amelia Minkin is a Research Associate at CEIR with a focus on data analysis. Amelia values community-centered policy and has a passion for the intersection between data and policy, bringing a unique set of technical skills to the democracy space.
Prior to joining CEIR, Amelia started her professional career as a Research Analyst at Issue One where she focused on democracy issues centered around election administration, campaign finance, and technology reform. She has held a variety of data and policy roles including at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Decision Desk HQ, and the UF Election Lab. Amelia also serves as an instructional associate for graduate data science courses at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
Amelia holds an M.P.P. from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Political Science and B.S. in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida.
Outside of her passion for election administration, Amelia loves to attend concerts, collect records, and discover new music.
