The Big Truth: Who Can You Trust?

newsletter

The media landscape, truth, and who those skeptical of U.S. elections really trust were the themes of a moderated discussion that CEIR Executive Director David Becker participated in at Arizona State University last week. Moderated by Frank Luntz, the focus group with self-identified election deniers was guided by the question: Who can you trust?

Also included on the panel were Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates, and CBS Chief Washington Correspondent Major Garrett. The program also featured college students, who were included in the program during the town hall discussion.

Becker will share the high points of this evening, which he called one of the most meaningful events he’s been a part of, during his February 28 Election Denialism Webinar.

Election Denialism in America: The Readout from Poll of GOP Voters, Focus Group in Arizona

Tuesday, February 28, 12 noon ET

Join David Becker, Executive Director, as he summarizes the findings of a new CEIR poll of GOP voters, conducted by Echelon Insights, showing that voters are somewhat more confident in U.S. elections now than they were a year ago. Despite this progress, the poll also shows that many Americans still believe unfounded conspiracy theories about widespread voter fraud.

Becker will also give a readout of the focus group of election deniers convened in Arizona by pollster Frank Luntz, mentioned above.
